The India Women’s cricket team emerged victorious in their first ODI against Ireland Women during the ICC Championship series held at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot. Opting to bat first, Ireland Women set a target of 194 runs, thanks to a commendable performance by Gaby Lewis, who scored 92 runs off 129 balls, including 15 boundaries. Deepti Sharma also contributed significantly, excelling as both a bowler and an all-rounder, with a tight economy rate and a crucial wicket that halted Ireland’s momentum.
